What Is Dried Rosemary?
The ever-popular rosemary is one of the most aromatic of all herbs thanks to its lemon-pine, woody and peppery flavour.
Dried rosemary retains an extremely close resemblance to the fresh herb and is a must-have ingredient for Italian, Spanish, Greek and other Mediterranean dishes.
Rosemary is native to the Mediterranean and grows wild on many cliffs and shorelines.
Cooking With Dried Rosemary
Rosemary works very well with root vegetables and grains. Add at the start of cooking so that the flavour has time to infuse.
A personal favourite of mine is to cut it up and sprinkle on homemade chips (with lots of coarse salt and oil) for the final 20 minutes of roasting!
