Coconut Coir Washing Up Brush - Vegan
Coconut Coir Washing Up Brush - Vegan
This Coconut coir washing-up brush fits nicely into the palm of my hand. It makes a great alternative to plastic and synthetic brushes!
What Is Coconut Coir?
Coconut coir is a fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a matured coconut. It is an excellent material for cleaning products due to its antibacterial properties.
The coconut coir and husks used to make this washing-up brush are waste products from food and oil production, which would normally be burned and wasted.
Plastic Free Washing Up Brush
This brush is non-toxic and completely biodegradable meaning you can clean your pans with confidence that no microplastics or chemicals are being released down the drain!
Each brush measures approx. 10cmx 7cm, excluding the loop, and is handmade in Sri Lanka.
This washing-up brush will last you ages but when the time finally comes to replace it, you can separate the coir from the wire, pop the brush in your home compost and the iron wire in your metal recycling.
